River Cities Tipoff Classic - Friday Notes

Summer Hoops is back in session in Nebraska, and River Cities is a good way to bring it back with some of the best teams in the area coming together to compete. Here’s some recaps of a few of the Friday games.
Fremont Area D-League 16U 63, Hoffman Hoops Academy 16U Noah 47
Fremont Area shot 14/21 from deep in a quality win against Hoffman Hoops Academy. Jack Welch (Pictured below, #5) led the way with 20 points on 7/11 shooting including 6/7 from beyond the arc. Jaiden Powers (Pictured below, #4 added 14 points on 5/10 FG including 3:6 from deep. Riley Doughtrey led Hoffman with 14 points on 7/10 shooting.
Lincoln Supreme 17U National 1 58, Hoffman Hoops Academy 17U 37
Supreme converted turnovers into buckets rn route to a 21 point win. The highlight of the game came when Hoffman Hoops Academy’s Tyler Pickworth nailed a 3/4 court heave at the end of the 1st half. Jack Hastrieter (Pictured below) led Supreme with 12.

OSA 15U 3SSBL 86, All Iowa Attack 9th Red 61
OSA used a big 2nd half from Kevin Stubblefield (17 points on 8/11 FG) to boost them to a convincing win. Other top scorers included Jaden Jackson (#12 Below) with 16 points on 6/10 FG (4/7 3PT), Marcus Glock (#5 Below) with 13 points on 5/9 FG, and CJ Mitchell (#4 Below) with 12 points on 5/9 FG.
OSA 16U 3SSBL 89, All Iowa Attack 10th Red 50
OSA was fueled by a 30-point outing by Connor Millikan (#24 Below), and he did it efficiently. Millikan was 11/12 from the field including some tough finishes at the rim. Josiah Dotzler (#13 Below) scored 16 points on 7/11 FG, and Tate Odvody (#3 Below) chipped in 16 as well while going 7/8 from the free-throw line.
OSA 17U 3SSBL 80, All Iowa Attack 11th Red 67
This was the closest game of the day, as it was a back-and-forth battle most of the way. PJ Davis (#5 Below) hit a 3 at the halftime buzzer to give OSA a 37-35 lead at the break. OSA got up by 10 with 6:30 to go and never looked back. Kyle Ingwerson (#24 White) led OSA with 15 points on 6/7 FG (3/4 3PT), Gil Jengmer (#42 White) chipped in 13 on 5/7 FG including 4/4 FT Ruot Bijiek played his first game for the Crusaders and scored 12 points on 5/9 FG, Josh Dix (#4 White) had 11 points on 4/10 FG, and Reggie Thomas scored 11 pts including 7/8 FT, many of which came late to seal the deal. Cole Glasgow (#24 Black) scored 19 on 7/11 FG (3/6 3PT).
