1
Josiah Dotzler

Bellevue West
OSA 16U 3SSB
Dotzler is incredibly quick and shifty. He creates seperation from his defender with ease, and get to the rim at a high rate. He steps up in the clutch and delivers when his team needs it most. He's a nightmare on defense as well, as he pressures the ball very well and forces many turnovers and competes at a high level.
2
Brennon Clemmons Jr.
6'7/F
Lincoln Northstar
OSA 16U 3SSB
Clemmons has high-level basketball genes, and high-level basketball skill. He protects the rim very well and turns those blocks into rebounds and outlets. He's been slowed by injuries in his high school career, but still shows a high basketball IQ and a very high ceiling.
3
Connor Millikan
6'1/G
Platteview
OSA 16U 3SSB
Millikan gets buckets better than almost anyone in state. He's ultra competitive and is a tremendous playmaker who is capable of scoring 25+ on any given night. He's efficient with his shooting and rebounds very well for his size, both offensively and defensively. He averaged 27 points and 9 rebounds a game last year, and will most likely repeat that this year.
4
Tate Odvody
6'3/G
Omaha Westside
OSA 16U 3SSB
Odvody is a strong, physical guard who can score from all 3 levels. He's smart, finishes well around the rim, sets up open teammates, and cleans up the glass well. He's a great piece to a contending Omaha Westside team this year.
5
Rylan Smith
6'2/G
Lincoln Southwest
OSA 16U 3SSB
Smith is one of the top distributors in Lincoln. He has a knack for finding scoring opportunities for his teammates. He's also become a very efficient shooter, as he was 22/39 (56%) from beyond the arc last year in an injury-shortened season. With him back in the rotation, Lincoln Southwest opens up as a preseason Top-10 team in the state, with Smith at the point, running the offense.
6
John Mitchell III
6'1/G
Bellevue West
N/A (Injury)
Mitchell is another prolific scorer, as he averaged 33.6 points a game last year for Creighton, including 6 games over 40, 2 games over 50, and a 61-point outburst as well. Mitchell makes the move to recent powerhouse Bellevue West, and will see an increase in competition while trying to come back from an injury that kept him out of summer ball.
7
Jaxon Stueve
6'4/G
Bellevue West
OSA 16U 3SSB
Stueve in a high-IQ player with a good shooting ability. He moves well off-ball to set himself up for buckets, adn can hit from a few steps beyond the arc. His role will increase a lot for Bellevue West this year, as he will be a big piece of a team that is looking to make their 4th championship game appearance in the last 5 years
8
Porter Bazil
6'7/F
Lincoln Northeast
Arizona Select 16U UAA
Bazil is a lengthy forward that can play both in the post and around the perimeter. He's an impact player on defense and has a high-level of potential. He already holds a D1 offer (Cal Poly) and will be a go-to guy for Lincoln Northeast this Winter
9
TK Barnett
5'9/G
Bellevue West
Nebraska Supreme 16U UAA
Barnett is a high-energy guard who loves to pressure the ball on defense and give opposing ball handlers trouble. He's an attack first guard who uses different angles to put the ball in the basket around taller defenders. He dives on the court for loose balls and creates extra possesions. He'll be in the hunt for a state title after transferring to Bellevue West this summer.
10
River Johnston
6'0/G
North Platte
Nebraska Supreme 16U UAA
Johnston is one of the top shooters in the class, as he excels in the catch and shoot game. He's skilled with the ball and can get to the rim well. He gets to the line consistently and knocks them down at about a 70% clip. He will be the main guy for North Platte next year who looks to improve this season.
11
Landon Classen
5'9/G
O'Neill
Nebraska Supreme 16U UAA
Classen is a 3-level scorer that fills up the stat sheet well. He shoots well off the dribble, and can hit shots from a few feet beyond the arc. He even blocks shots well in 1 on 1 drives. The attention he draws on defense leads him to find passing windows and find teammates in scoring position. He looks to turn the corner this season and qualify for state with O'Neill.
12
Maal Jal
6'4/F
Millard South
OSA 16U 3SSB
Jal is a lengthy, good athlete with a high ceiling. He can play both perimeter and post, and thrives off of 2nd-chance points off of crashing the offensive glass hard. He has a quick first step and spaces the floor well. Jal's role will increase this year as he has the chance to earn a starting role for the Patriots this winter.
13
Carter Ruse
6'0/G
Freeman
Lincoln Supreme 16U National 1
Ruse is patient around the rim, as he can finish through traffic after waiting for the best opportunity. He has a fluid shot with a quick release, and scores well from the short corner from a drive and two-foot finish, or a stop and pop jumper. Ruse looks to lead Freeman to another State Playoff appearance.
14
Jackson Kessler
5'10/G
Lincoln Pius X
Lincoln Supreme 16U National 1
Kessler is a shorter but bouncy guard who plays strong with the ball and has a good shot both off the catch from 3 and a nice mid-range pull up. He uses his floater well when he gets in the lane and can finish well with his off hand. Kesller will see the floor a lot more this Winter for a Lincoln Pius X team that will be towards the top of Class A.
15
Jake Brack
6'6/F
Omaha Skutt
OSA 16U 3SSB
Brack is an efficient post player who makes a living off of pick and roll layups or drive and dump buckets. He always has his hands ready down low and is ready to rebound a miss shot and turn it into a putback. He gets position well down low and is always alert. Brack will be one of the top post players in Class B this year for Omaha Skutt.
16
Lukas Helms
6'5/G
Lincoln Southwest
Lincoln Supreme 16U National 1
Helms wasn't a name I was familiar with last time I updated rankings, but after a great Spring and Summer with Lincoln Southwest and Lincoln Supreme, Helms has jumped onto my radar. He knows when to attack and gets to the rim consistently, finishing in a variety of ways. He can get hot and score in bunches.
17
Mitch Scholl
6'6/F
Omaha Skutt
OSA National 16U Lindburg
Scholl is a post-presence with some good footwork and patience with the ball down low. He out-muscles other players for rebounds, which he does well. He shows his hands well once he has position. He's a good mix of size and finesse, as he uses head fakes and ball fakes as well as drop-steps and step-throughs well.
18
Evan Werner
6'3/G
Elkhorn South
OSA National 16U Lindburg
Werner is a good 3-and-D threat. He has a knack for jumping the passing lanes and turning steals into points, especially in a full-court press. He's efficient on the offensive end, especially with his 3 point shot. He competes well for rebounds, and grabs a good amount for his size.
19
Wade Voss
6'7/F
Lincoln Southeast
Nebraska Supreme 16U UAA
Voss is a strong body with a good all-around offensive game. He can bump down low and finish with authority through contact, but he can also get it going from deep if given the chance. Voss is expected to have a breakout year with Lincoln Southeast and I agree.
20
JJ Ferrin
6'2/G
Omaha Skutt
OSA National 16U Lindburg
Ferrin is another player who increased his stock this summer, as he torched nets game after game with his shooting ability. His release is quick and he's a confident shooter. He fears no defender, works hard on both ends of the court, and is a good candidate for one of the breakout players of the class this year.
