Johnson’s best fit is down by the basket, finishing above the rim and collecting offensive rebounds. He can really jump out of the gym, which allows him to finish strong and grab boards with ease. His jump shot is still improving, but has really improved the past year. He is a good rim protector as well, as well as an efficient scorer (63% FG his senior season)
Abdelkarim is a shifty, crafty, guard who can light it up from deep. When he’s hot, he is really hard to stop. He finds ways to get to the rim and finish around defenders. He’s received some D1 interest, yet no school has pulled the trigger yet. Don’t be surprised if the floodgates were to open when the 1st team offers.
Shakeer is a versatile, skilled player. When he’s on, it’s really fun to watch. He can downright take over games at any point, which he did a lot for Benson in their games. He’s a high-flyer who can throw it down if given the chance, and can finish just about every shot at the rim no matter the contact or degree of difficulty. Shakeer’s basketball future is unknown.

Vogt may look young, but he plays with amazing poise and confidence. He can get nearly any shot he wants and is one of the smartest basketball players in the class. He not only can create for himself (15.4 ppg), but he can drive and dish to cutting teammates as well. Vogt had a tremendous high school career, and should excel at the next level.
Bazil is another great offensive talent, as he is not only a great scorer, but a great distributor who makes good decisions with the ball in his hand. He shoots at a high percentage, and has a knack for contorting his body to finish around bigger defenders.
Dempsey is a great rim protector who alters many shots that come near him. His timing on his blocks mixed with his athleticism makes it hard to score when he’s around. On the offensive end, He’s skilled enough to put in on the floor and attack the rim, and can make 3s at a reliable rate.

Cassoutt is one of the most underappreciated talents in Nebraska. He is a tremendous shooter no matter the shot, whether it’s off the bounce, or off the catch. He can score in bunches and was a big reason why Papillion-La Vista South was a state qualifying team this past season.

Glenn is consistently a very solid player for his team. He doesn’t make eye-popping, highlight reel plays, but he really can get the job done. He played his entire senior season with a torn labrum in his shooting shoulder, and still made CHR’s 2nd-team all-state. Glenn’s toughness and high basketball IQ makes him the perfect floor general for any team.

If you are looking for a winner, look no further than Cam Binder. He went 79-9 in his high school career, including winning his last 63 games and 3 state championships. Binder is not only a winner, he may be the best shooter in the state as well. He’s unselfish as well, as he does whatever he needs to do to boost his team to a win.
